How to Use the ColorStory App to Edit a Mobile Photo (Even a Flat Lay)

Hey friends!  Ok, first off, if you haven’t been brought up to speed, things are changing over here.  ;)  No longer will this *just* be an essential oil blog, it is going to be a blog about all the things I am passionate about – which in a nutshell is helping women to live their best lives.

Whether you want to uplevel your health, your mindset, your business, or just hear some tips that are useful for LIFE, I hope this is a place you want to stay!  :)

On that note, today I want to share a quick tutorial I did on how to use the Color Story app to edit pictures on your mobile phone.  I have used this app for a few years now, it’s one of my favorite apps for editing mobile photos. Color Story can even help you edit your flat lay photos (as shown above), and it’s really simple to use.  Use it to edit your personal OR business pictures!

Color Story is a free app with lots of free features!  You can add on different filter packs for a small additional fee.  Some of my favorite filters are:

  • The Pop, Everyday, and Lite Bright filters from the Essentials collection (free)
  • The Bright and Soft & Bright filters from the Organic collection (paid)
  • The Carrie and Solange filters (at reduced opacity) from the Flashes of Delight collection (paid)

Watch the video below for a quick tutorial.

Download this app and play around with it, I think you’ll like it! What are some of your favorite apps to edit mobile photos?  And if there are other tech tutorials you’d like to see, drop your ideas in the comments!!
